Who we are
A breeder's nursery, since 1990
Woodstream Orchids was founded in 1990 as a mail-order distributor of orchid flasks and seedlings — predominantly Paphs. Today it is one of the most prominent breeders of Paphiopedilums and Phragmipediums in the United States, and the largest active producer of seed-grown orchid species and hybrids across the Pennsylvania–New York–Maryland–Virginia region. The nursery is open to retail walk-in trade on select days; e-mail to check.

Papa Aroha (Barry Fraser)
From a 2002 joint venture, Woodstream purchased much of Barry Fraser's world-class Paphiopedilum breeding stock and thousands of seedlings, perpetuating his tradition of excellence in species and complex hybrids.
